Windhoek Dog Club offers two different membership options:

Option 1: Register for a 6-week Course

Register and make a once-off payment for a course

We’re pleased to offer training courses for you and your dog. To get started, simply register and select the course that best fits your pup:

  • Puppy Course (6 classes for puppies up to 6 months)
  • Bonding Course (6 classes for dogs 6 months and older)
  • Obedience & Agility Beginner's 6-week Course

How to Register

To secure your spot, please complete your registration and payment prior to the class.

Register by going to the calendar page on this website and selecting the first date of the relevant course. You will see a 'Register now' link. From there you can fill in your details and proceed to the payment page where you indicate how you would like to pay.

Cost

Courses cost N$ 650 for a course of six classes. Payment options include cash, EFT, or PayToday. Your payment covers six classes and is valid for the selected course only.

If you have adopted a dog from the SPCA, you should have received a voucher which entitles you to a 50% discount on our Puppy Course or Bonding Course. When you register for the course you will see an option to enter a coupon code. Fill this in and the discount will be automatically applied.

Please note
that we are unable to offer refunds or make-up classes for missed sessions, but we’ll help ensure you make the most of your training.

Additional Info

  • This course does not include club membership or access to the club grounds outside of class times.
  • Space is limited, so early registration is recommended.

If you choose to join as a full member after completing your course, you are very welcome to register as a single member and pay the full membership fee.

Option 2: Become a Regular Member

As a member of the Windhoek Dog Club, you can take part in as many regular courses and classes as you like, provided your annual membership fee is paid. In addition, you’ll have access to the club grounds to work or play with your dog(s) at any reasonable time when the grounds are not in use for classes. The pedestrian gates are not locked.

Some classes run continuously and can be joined at any time. Our courses run for 6 weeks, and can only be joined at the start or within the first couple of classes to ensure proper progress. If you're unsure which course or class is the right fit for you and when you can join, feel free to check with our trainers.

If any courses, classes or events such as shows require separate fees, this will be communicated in advance.

As a member, you’ll also receive regular updates, including minutes from committee meetings and information on upcoming events, via email. If you’re not receiving these updates, please check on your profile for this website that your email address is correct. You can also contact the secretary at info@windhoekdogclub.com to confirm your email.
